I have worked at Military Family Resource Centres in Quebec and Ontario, as well as in addiction treatment centres. As a military spouse, I also have a personal understanding of aspects of military life.

As part of social work support, I may suggest hypnosis when it is appropriate for your situation and goals. The exercise draws on attention, imagination and suggestions tailored to what you would like to explore. We first take time to discuss your needs, expectations and comfort.
Participation is voluntary. During the exercise, you can ask questions, pause or stop at any time.

Hypnosis invites you into an altered state of consciousness that may feel like being between sleep and wakefulness. You can take part in the conversation and describe your sensations or observations. I guide you in a supportive setting tailored to your situation, paying attention to your comfort throughout the exercise.
